Pelican On Patrol

It is so easy to while away the hours watching the pelicans; and one of my favorite things to do.

Just goes to show you how huge the ocean is, the pelican is so tiny out there just floating along.

WOW! Great photo of the pelican! I've never seen this kind before - we have some white ones here. They are such fantastic birds.

hello tootie, lovely to hear from you again!
pelicans are very friendly birds - there was once a pelican living on the south coast of our island. he had been fed and looked after by the torurists in the summer and the locals in the winter. i think he never left, and died there.

Shalom Tootie. Lovely picture. Gives the impression that the lone pelican has the ocean all to himself and that you have a beach all to yourself. Must be nice. . .

Tootie: It's always fun to see big birds of any kind. Neat photo of an uncommon bird up north.

I've never seen one before in real life, so it's nice to see it through your eyes. :)

I can lose time watching the ocean and all the wildlife on and around it too. We don't see many pelicans here though.
