We see many eagles here on Sanibel. This one kept coming back to the tree behind the house today. Each time it would break off a twig and fly away with it. I assume that it will be a part of a new nest. How privileged I am to be able to watch these beautiful birds.

I absolutely love the eagles. I am so sad that we don't see them over by us anymore although we did see a couple flying way up above us the other day.
I've yet to see one this year! Not sure if I saw one last year either. *grin*
Beautiful photo.
I've never seen an eagle that close.
I played too :)
Yes I think you are very privileged
to see these regal birds! Great photos!
How fortunate you were able to get a photo of the beautiful eagle. I saw two a week or two ago as we were out driving. But, when we stopped to take their picture, they fly away like the wind.
Thank you for visiting "Mercedez Fun Room" today. She is my 6 year old granddaughter and I try to post things that are fun and educational. Not always, but some of the time. Thanks for your friendly comment.
I never tire of eagle shots!

You are so lucky. I love the photo. We went to view the eagles today and only saw 1 I needed more than my 300 mm lens to get a shot like u did. I will keep trying I hope to have a closer view by next sat.
They are awesome birds.
It's definitely wonderful to have an Eagle nest near your home. Hopefully you will be able to see them tending their young then up and through the summer.

So pretty, living on the coast here in BC I used to get some great shots of them too.
